Pete Moynes (KMC publisher) and myself (KMC editor) recently headed up to Whitewater for a “board” meeting. Just 25 minutes from Nelson, with the sun shining in between flurries of fluff, to our great surprise (not really) the stash factor was incredibly fat. With our first lift up the Glory Ridge Chair at a casual 2:00pm, thanks to some cool recent dumpage, there was still serious fresh tracks to be had all over the mountain. And then when an owl flashed by us standing above a completely untracked Hummer Trees, with sun and snow and cool beers a few faceshots away, well, we kinda thought that things are all happening for a very good reason.
