Whitewater Winter Resort Releases Beautiful Tribute on its 40th Anniversary
This film, produced by the talented team at Nelson, BC-based Freeride Entertainment, unveils the untold story of the dream called Whitewater. A true celebration of the community spirit that not only built the walls that stand there today, but that lives strong in the vibe throughout.
The 20-minute film focuses most of its storytelling on the resort’s inception and through the struggles of the early years of development. It also features the stories of the Heath brothers, Dave and Bill, and Doug LePage, whose imagery played an instrumental role in defining the allure and character of the place. If you love down home ski experiences, and mountain resorts that ultimately defined the Kootenay experience, make sure you take the time to watch this beauty.
