Over the last 24 hours, many BC ski resorts have been reporting significant accumulations over this last heavy snowfall. This morning Whistler mountain reported 24cm in 24 hrs. I spoke with Ski Journal Editor Mike Berard this afternoon who reported to have shredded Whistler Mountain under “Kootenay like” snow conditions, cold and light.
Red Mountain reported 20 cm’s over 24hrs, and Whitewater reported 13cms at 6am this morning, but I can attest to more like 25, and as you can see by the attach image, taken at 9:45am there ain’t nobody around,
our new Glory Chair.
South of the border, Schweitzer Mtn. reported 7″ in the last 24, while Mt. Baker tacked on another 20″.
Hope it’s snowing where you are!!
