Packed with monstrous lines, stunning sends, and gorgeous cinematography, the VIMFF 2016 program features 74 films from 18 different countries. This will be the Vancouver premiere for many of the films – your first chance to see them screened here.
The Festival is also bringing in 25 legendary speakers to talk about the films and their boundary-pushing, world-record setting, jaw-dropping mountain pursuits. To get a little snippet of what’s in store, check out their masterfully crafted trailer.

Mitchell Scott is the longtime Editor-in-Chief and co-publisher of both Kootenay Mountain Culture and Coast Mountain Culture Magazines.
