They are one of the most talented production houses in winter sports today. A fusion of young American filmakers who somehow made their way to Nelson, British Columbia, Sweetgrass Productions, fresh off of the success of their 2011 film, Solitude, have spent the last year in the Kootenays diving deep into their next project, Valhalla. With a passion for real storytelling, environmental conscience film production, and a panache for doing things differently, judging from the trailer, Sweetgrass has found their Kootenay freak flag and are letting it fly high. This is going to be an amazing film. Kootenay Mountain Culture Magazine is proud to be a participating sponsor.
