Panorama Mountain Village and Rockstar Energy Drink are working together to bring one of the most inventive contests to the mountain biking population. The contest, which first appeared last summer, uses the power of social media to allow mountain bikers to share their ideas of what they wish they could find in a mountain bike park, but has never been built before.
Driven by the mountain bike community, riders can submit their designs for an innovative bike park feature on Panorama’s Facebook contest webpage. Valid entries can be drawings, photos of models or computer aid designs. Submitted entries are voted upon by the Panorama Bike Park Crew and built immediately after, in preparation for the grand opening event – The Rockstar Bike Rodeo. The winning designer and 3 friends receive a 4 night stay, tickets to the bike park and will be the first to ride their new feature.
The contest launches June 15th and runs until July 9th at 5pm MST. The winning design will be announced on July 13th through the Panorama website and Facebook page. The new bike park feature, which will be added as an extension to last summer’s ‘Mousetrap’ line, will be open to the public on July 21st 2012 for the Rockstar Bike Rodeo event.
