We here at KMC had the opportunity to run the Salmo River just south of Nelson BC yesterday morning. We ventured into the cool, rushing water of the little known Salmo with John Dutton, who’s recently set up Nelson Whitewater Rafting Company, a super tight and well-run operation that runs exclusively on the up to Class 4 rapids of the Salmo. And what a great trip. An hour and a half on the water, with a continual escalation in excitement and rapid size, with virtually no boring sections, the Salmo is an awesome summer half day adventure. A great way to see a part of southern BC very few ever get to experience. Go HERE to find out more and book a trip while the water’s still running high and fast.
