We took a pair of Smartwool socks on our latest distribution run and wore them the entire time. Twenty seven days. A couple gazillion steps. One pair of socks. This is their story. By Darren Davidson.
Go far? Oh yeah. Feel good? Fo sho.
Every six months the folks at Kootenay Mountain Culture and Coast Mountain Culture magazines embark on one heck of a road trip. In an effort to thank the hundreds of shops, resorts, cafés and hovels that distribute KMC and CMC to tens of thousands of their customers every summer and winter, the magazine’s sales team delivers the latest issue — in person!
The entire trip takes about four weeks, covers roughly 6,000 kilometres from Vancouver to Portland to Whitefish to Calgary and involves a whole lotta walking, step climbing, loading dock lugging and more than a few puddles and pints.
This year we took a pair of Smartwool socks on the run. And wore them the entire time. Twenty seven days. A couple gazillion steps. One pair of socks. This is their story.
