Another year of Kootenay Coldsmoke Powder Fest good times goes down in the history books. As the MC for the Powderkeg Slopestyle sponsored by Valhalla Pure, and the Kootenay Coldshot Photo Contest held during the Buff-eh, I can only say, Nelson likes to have fun in the snow. Whitewater ski patrollers hucking double back flips, telemarkers sending giant 540s, Eric Pehota scaring people silly up on Ymir Peak. And then, some amazing photo shows featuring the likes of Kari Medig, Bruno Long, Grant Gunderson, Jenna Low and Francois Marseille. We’ll be putting up the slideshows over the next couple of days, but in the meantime, here’s me all gussied up giving the gussy to Robyn from Whitewater. Feels good to be a cowboy.
