The Leavenworth Mountain Association is hosting the 19th annual Rockfest May 5-6, 2018, at Tierra Learning Center in Leavenworth, Washington.
The Leavenworth Mountain Association has a mission to strengthen the community through climbing and this weekend the organization plans to do that by hosting the annual Leavenworth Rockfest. A grassroots rock climbing event, Rockfest has been the state of Washington’s largest climbing festival for the past 18 years.
The festival has several different elements aimed at educating and introducing climbing to everyone as well as encouraging seasoned climbers to push their limits in fun and competitive ways. The culmination of these elements is a festival for climbers and non-climbers alike. This year attendees can expect the following events:

- Hosted by Northwest Mountain School
- Responsible Climbing Series
- Hosted by the American Alpine Club
- Stewardship Project with USFS

- With La Sportiva, Butora, Tenaya, Black Diamond & Scarpa
- Campground Climber Competitions
- Hosted by Vertical World
- Special Guest Speaker: Mikey Schaefer
- Presented by the Access Fund, Washington Climbers Coalition, and Sleeping Lady
- Giant Raffle
