Bill Metcalfe lives in Nelson, British Columbia, and has done a range of journalism work in the West Kootenay over the past 15 years. His freelance writing has appeared in TheVancouver Sun, The Tyee, Vancouver Observer, and The Nelson Daily, and he has produced many documentary pieces for CBC Radio. He currently works as a reporter for the Nelson Star.
